Transferred!!!

So I'm now transferred to my sixth area in Sagay 1st ward. It's pretty cool my new companion is cool, or so I've heard. I haven't met him yet. But the area is really good. I'm no longer a District Leader just a regular senior companion. It feels good.

Conference was amazing! They all were amazing! I really was edified for maybe the first time. It was because I wanted to be edified!

I can't really say much else. I had an interesting week topped off with this transfer. But The saddest part was I might not see Elder Warnick and Elder Cagampang for a long time if ever.... They are more than just elders to me. They are brothers!!!

My Week!!!

I hope it snows like that when I go home so I can really get right back into the Canadian weather. I hope Farley is OK!

So I forgot to mention that I ate Balut. I have a video of it but I don't think you can send videos. And it was So good, it literally tasted amazing! Like chicken soup and the bird itself was good too like soft and not gross like I expected. I would eat it again for sure!

This past week we have been working hard to get more baptisms in our area. We have few set up now. We are actually making some pretty good progress. If we keep pushing forward doing what we are supposed to do then we will have 7 total baptisms. We are just trying to do our best with it all! It takes alot of hard work but it's worth it. Our one investigator who lost a toe is no sort of limping around. She is making great progress!

That's my week

Still in La Castellana

Zone Training
So ya I still haven't been transferred which is just as well because we have a potential for a lot of baptisms. We are working really really hard. We actually had a 3 baptisms one was a child of record this past Saturday. But the cool thing about those baptisms is that it completed the family so basically all of the members of that family who can be baptized are now baptized. They are looking forward to the temple. Especially when I gave a talk in sacrament meeting about tithing. When we were leaving she told us that she went straight to the branch presidents office to start paying her tithing so she can go to the temple. They're awesome!
We also had exchanges with the Manggapsang Elders. Me and Warnick had a good time. Just no food. Hahaha. We ate some of the other elders food, because there are 4 of them in their house. Hahahaha

MT Canla-on
This past week was Holy Week. So people have been going crazy. This whole week people have been re-living the last week of Jesus. On Sunday they brought palm leaves to the church. Thursday they had the last supper. Then on Friday they do Crucifixions, yup Crucifixions. I haven't seen one live but one was a tv when we passed by so ya it was freaky. But that's just how it is here. Not everyone does it but it does happen. Then on Sunday they have a big party because it's the resurrection! It is pretty awesome!

I love you FAMILY! I'm sending pictures this week!!!!!

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!

Ya so I'm good. How was Jeremy's Farewell? I've been wanting to ask this question for while now...... When did mom get an IPad?

So this week we had a mission tour with Elder Haynie of the 70. It was really cool I had a lot of spiritual impressions on how to improve myself to become a better missionary and person really.

This week we had this one investigator who is kinda shy and only came to church when the one investigator with the missing toe. But this week she came all by herself and started making friends at Church and really started loving it. She is making huge progress. She is a true miracle!!!!

Also we have this new investigator, well family. And they are prepared by the Lord! They are super receptive. They cry every visit. After the first visit we were already invited to the daughters birthday later at 3 pm! They are Awesome.

I might be transferred. Next week. But nothing is for certain in the mission....

That's my life this week.

Lost a toe!!!

Regarding your trip to Toronto, the aquarium is awesome I've been there once. The Science Centre would be better, because it has all that cool stuff that's like interactive and stuff. But that's just me. So Farley is really ours like for real? He is always going to live with us? That's awesome!

So this week. Our one investigator that would have been baptized on the 12 had something go wrong. We found out when we visited that she..... Lost a toe. It was in a tricycle accident, and the story is pretty gruesome but none the less she is one toe short out of 10. She can't walk, or even limp around she is confined to sitting and lying down in her bed. She is still looking forward to her baptism, it's just going to take a little longer. We are praying and fasting for a speedy recovery.

So we are keeping up the work here in La Castellana. We are beat tired everyday we come which is a good thing. We have been experiencing a lot of appointments falling through but in the Bacolod mission we don't wait for the lessons to come to us we make the

I love you!

Through God's Eyes

Lishan said that she was at the same building where you saw Russell M. Nelson speak, but later that day for a funeral.  One of the missionaries in your mission (who served one year in India) was there - it was his grandmother and she asked him and his companion if they knew Elder Rivera.   His companion said that he came out of the MTC with you.  Unfortunately, she did not remember their names.

Yes I remember his name is Elder Seabock.

You guys almost had a snow day. Here they have almost rain days. Seriously, if it rains too hard they cancel school. especially if it's a storm. I'm just looking forward to snow again.

Our whole Mission with Elder Nelson
So this week we had a really hard trial happen. On sunday we had zero investigators, I was devastated. So when we got home from Church we basically had 2 choices, to sit and mope or do something about it. So I decided to have some personal study. I read some scriptures, then had the impression to read, the General conference edition of the Liahona. I read the message by the new member of t he Quorum of the Twelve Elder Renlund titled "Through God's Eyes."  It help me to get my head back in the game. We are going to push ourselves harder than before!!!! It will be a good week.

Today we went back to the zoo. We actually got to hold the snake. In the picture I look like I'm freaking out. I hope I can send it but this computer might not let me. If not you'll see it next week for sure.

I can't think of anything else that happened.

Except I went to Bacolod and got my blood test done finally. Something cool happened in Bacolod. When we were eating at this pizza place, we asked for the bill and found out some one already paid for us! It was so cool!

I Spent a Night in the Hospital

So ya I was in the hospital... But just to watch Elder Cagampang so that Elder Warnick, could work in their area. It was weird being at the hospital. Plus I spent the night on this bench in the room that had this thin cushion on it so my back was killing me when I woke up. But it was worth it for my best bud. He had his appendix removed.

Other than that our week was pretty good. We had another Baptism. Reymar Gervacio was baptized. It's so cool because soon that whole family will be baptized and can prepare to enter the temple to be sealed for time and all eternity. Also on Sunday we had 7 investigators at church 4 of which are brand new investigators. It's so cool how the Lord blesses you if you just work your hardest.

Our challenge this week was finding time to work. With the hospital, follow-up training, and all the travel we didn't have a lot of time to teach, but the lessons we taught were awesome! I'm excited for La Castellana!

I took a picture of what travel is like on the bus sometimes in our area. SARDINES!
